Dont Waste Paint
Paint left over on my stamp pad. Never waste paint! I have evolved my technique to save the paint in a useful way like keeping the colours separate.
I pull out scraps of leftover cotton canvas, 10oz. Linen works well too. Any natural woven.
I use a flat edge like those small squeegees used for smoothing out wallpaper and drag paint across, leaving it pretty thick.
I then take a trowel with notches, like the ones used for gluing tile (hardware stores are gold) and drag firmly to give texture.
